This Micro ATX motherboard uses the AMD B550 chipset and Socket AM4 to support Ryzen 5000, 5000 G-Series, 4000 G-Series, 3000 and 3000 G-Series desktop processors. Four DDR4 slots accept up to 128GB of dual-channel memory running at speeds up to 4400 MT/s with A-XMP profiles. It suits gamers and creators who need a compact platform with modern connectivity.
Thermals and power in normal use
The board draws power through standard ATX and CPU connectors and runs without active chipset cooling. The Realtek RTL8111H controller provides 1Gbps wired LAN while the pre-installed Wi-Fi 6E module adds 2.4, 5 and 6GHz wireless with MU-MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3. No onboard RGB lighting keeps power draw low and visual distraction minimal.
Build quality and daily connectivity
A steel-armoured PCIe 4.0 x16 slot is reinforced with extra solder points to hold heavy graphics cards. Two M.2 sockets handle 2280, 2260 and 2242 drives; the CPU-linked slot runs PCIe 4.0 x4 or SATA and the chipset-linked slot runs PCIe 3.0 x4. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1 and 10. Rear I/O includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB 5Gbps Type-C and Type-A plus USB 2.0 headers for front panel expansion. Realtek ALC897 delivers 7.1-channel HD audio.
