Compact DC bench supply for lab and test use

The myVolts WZ5005 delivers adjustable DC output from 0 to 50 volts at up to 5 amps with a maximum of 250 watts. A 1.8 inch colour LCD shows four digit readings for voltage and current. Constant voltage and constant current modes are built in. The unit accepts an input range of DC 6 to 55 volts and includes a key lock to prevent accidental changes.

Protection and thermal behaviour

Over voltage, over current, over temperature and under voltage protections are all implemented. OVP and OCP thresholds can be set from the front panel while OTP and LVP operate automatically. When any limit is exceeded the output shuts off to protect connected equipment. The ABS enclosure uses flame retardant material and runs without active cooling in normal operation.

Upgrading from basic fixed supplies

This replaces single voltage wall adapters or unregulated bench units that lack precision readout and programmable limits.
