This kit delivers one terabyte of DDR5 registered memory in eight 128GB modules. It is built for the Dell PowerEdge R6625 and other servers that accept 288-pin ECC RDIMMs. The 4Rx4 organisation suits workloads that demand maximum density per slot.

Upgrade scope

The kit replaces any smaller DDR5 RDIMM configuration or a mixed-capacity set that limits total memory. The jump is worth it when the platform can address the full 1TB and the application benefits from registered ECC at 4800 MT/s. Systems limited to lower capacities or unbuffered modules cannot use this kit.

Platform limits

The modules run at 1.10V with CL40 timing on the DDR5 4800 standard. They require a motherboard that supports 288-pin registered ECC DIMMs and the 4Rx4 rank structure. Platforms restricted to UDIMMs, lower rank counts or slower DDR5 speeds will not post with this memory installed.
