Purpose-built POS upgrade

This 4 GB DDR3 SODIMM is validated for the POSIFLEX PS-3316 fanless touch-screen terminal. It targets system integrators and IT staff who need a drop-in memory increase for point-of-sale workloads without re-qualifying the platform.

DDR3-1333 ceiling and single-slot limit

The module runs at PC3-10600 speed with CL9 latency at 1.50 V, the maximum JEDEC rate for this generation. A single 204-pin slot accepts one stick, so total capacity cannot exceed the density of this module and dual-channel operation is not possible.

Replaces lower-density DDR3 SODIMMs

The upgrade is worthwhile when the terminal ships with 1 GB or 2 GB and the OS or POS software shows paging pressure. It will not help systems already at the platform maximum or those that require ECC, registered DIMMs or a newer DDR generation.
