64 GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM kit for Thinkmate rack servers

This 64 GB kit contains eight 8 GB DDR4 3200 registered DIMMs built for Thinkmate RAX-XS4-21S1-10G, RAX-XS4-11S1-10G and RAX-XH2-11S3 rackmount servers. ECC and registered buffering protect data integrity in mission-critical workloads. The modules run at 1.2 V with CL22 latency and use major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips.

DDR4 3200 registered interface limits

The DDR4 3200 standard caps transfer rates at PC4-25600 while registered buffering adds one cycle of address-command delay. ECC overhead consumes a small portion of bandwidth for error correction. Systems not designed for registered ECC RDIMMs will not accept these modules.

Capacity headroom for virtualization and databases

Eight ranks of 1Rx8 memory give 64 GB total capacity suited for multi-tenant virtualization, large databases and high-thread-count applications. Workloads that exceed 64 GB or require higher frequencies than 3200 MT/s will need additional DIMM slots or a faster memory platform.
