DDR4 3200 Registered ECC Limits

The modules run at DDR4 3200 with CL22 latency and 1.20V operation. Registered buffering and ECC protect data integrity, but the DDR4 bus caps peak bandwidth at the PC4-25600 rate regardless of how many DIMMs are populated.

Headroom and Constraints

Twelve slots are needed to reach the full 768GB, so the server must expose at least twelve DDR4 RDIMM sockets. Systems with fewer slots or platforms that only accept unbuffered UDIMMs cannot use this kit.
