This 128GB kit contains eight 16GB registered DDR5 modules rated at 4800MHz with CL40 latency and 1.1V operation. It is built for SuperMicro SuperWorkstation SYS-751A-I and X13DAI-T platforms that require ECC RDIMM memory.
Registered DDR5 for compatible SuperMicro boards
The modules use 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM form factor with 1Rx8 organization and on-die ECC. They install directly into the workstation's DIMM slots and free non-ECC consumer slots for other builds that do not need registered memory.
Replaces non-ECC or slower DDR5 in supported
The jump is worth it when the workload demands error correction and registered buffering at 4800MHz. It is not for consumer motherboards that cannot accept registered ECC RDIMMs or that require different pinouts or voltages.
