This 128GB kit contains two 64GB DDR5 5600 RDIMM modules built to the CL46 timing and 1.1V voltage the board expects. Registered ECC architecture with 2Rx4 organisation lets the memory controller address every slot at full capacity. The modules use major-brand Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips for enterprise-grade reliability.
Registered buffering offloads the memory controller so all channels run fully populated without signal degradation. On-die ECC detects and corrects single-bit errors in flight, preventing silent data corruption that can crash databases or virtual machines. The kit arrives as a matched pair so population order follows the board's validated sequence.
Align the key notch with the slot, press evenly until both retention clips engage, then verify population order in the motherboard manual. Common issues arise when slots are filled out of sequence or when a BIOS revision older than the board's qualified-vendor list is used. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the DIMMs must be maintained by the chassis fans.
