The Air96 V2 is a 100-key ANSI keyboard built around an aluminium-alloy frame and an ABS base that tapers to 13.5 millimetres at its thinnest point. Two-tone PBT keycaps sit on Gateron Orange switches, and the low profile removes the need for a separate wrist rest during extended sessions. It targets users who want a full numeric row in a footprint smaller than a standard tenkeyless board.

QMK/VIA and tri-mode connectivity

The board ships with hot-swappable sockets so switches can be changed without soldering, and the open-source QMK/VIA firmware lets every key be remapped or macro-programmed across Windows, macOS and Linux. Bluetooth 5.1 pairs with up to four devices simultaneously, while the 2.4-gigahertz dongle and USB-C cable each deliver a 1000-hertz polling rate for competitive play. A 4000-milliampere-hour battery yields 35 to 120 hours with RGB active or 220 hours with lighting off, and a side LED bar reports remaining charge.

Tool-free switch changes and multi-OS setup

Hot-swap sockets make switch replacement a matter of pulling and pressing, and the three tilt angles of 3.5, 6.5 and 8.5 degrees adjust with flip-out feet — no screws required. The 1000-hertz wired and 2.4-gigahertz modes work driver-free, while Bluetooth defaults to 125 hertz and may need a firmware update for optimal stability on some Linux distributions. Buyers who need a dedicated macro column or a split ergonomic layout should look elsewhere.
