96% Wireless Gaming Keyboard
The NuPhy Halo96 V2 is a 96% layout mechanical keyboard with 99 keys in a green colourway. It uses Green Mint switches rated at 37gf actuation force and a gasket mount structure. The board targets gamers and typists who want a compact footprint that still retains a dedicated number pad and arrow cluster.
Connectivity and polling limits
Three connection modes are available: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless and USB-C wired. The 2.4GHz and wired modes both reach a 1000Hz polling rate, while Bluetooth typically runs lower. Wireless pairing supports up to 4 devices simultaneously, switched via FN key combinations. A 4000mAh battery powers the board for extended untethered use.
Hot-swap install and common issues
The PCB accepts both 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style switches, so users can swap switches without soldering. Plate-mounted stabilisers are pre-installed; lubing or tuning them requires keycap and switch removal. South-facing RGB LEDs sit beneath the switch housing, which can interfere with thick Cherry-profile keycaps on certain rows. QMK/VIA support is provided for firmware-level remapping and lighting control.
