Dual-protocol M.2 enclosure for NVMe and SATA SSDs

The NUSYN NSE35GR accepts M.2 drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths using either NVMe/PCIe or SATA/NGFF protocols. It connects through a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that delivers up to 10 Gbps for NVMe SSDs and 6 Gbps for SATA SSDs. The unit supports UASP and TRIM for sustained performance. It is not compatible with M.2 SATA AHCI B Key SSDs.

IP65-rated zinc alloy case

A zinc alloy shell combined with a silicone edge provides IP65 waterproof, dustproof and shockproof protection. An internal thermal pad helps dissipate heat without a fan. The enclosure ships with a short USB-C to C cable that doubles as a hanging lanyard, so no separate cord is required for portable use. Weighing 0.44 lb and measuring 1.82 by 4.80 by 0.63 inches, it fits easily in a bag or pocket.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 bandwidth limits

The 10 Gbps ceiling applies only to NVMe drives; SATA SSDs top out at 6 Gbps regardless of the drive's own speed. Thunderbolt hosts will negotiate down to the same USB 3.2 Gen 2 rates. Buyers needing B Key SATA AHCI support or higher throughput than USB 3.2 Gen 2 provides should consider a different interface. The enclosure supports up to 4 TB capacity across Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS devices.
