32-port Cisco console server

The Opengear CM7132-2-DAC-US provides 32 Cisco straight serial ports for out-of-band management of network infrastructure. Dual AC power supplies and two gigabit Ethernet links give redundant paths for remote access. Four gigabytes of internal flash store configurations and logs. FIPS 140-2 certification meets federal security requirements.

Serial and Ethernet limits

Each serial port follows the Cisco straight pinout, so only compatible cables or adapters will connect correctly. The two Ethernet interfaces operate at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps and do not support higher speeds or fibre modules. Flash capacity is fixed at 4 GB and cannot be expanded internally. USB ports are limited to the two provided.

FIPS 140-2 certified appliance

The cryptographic module validation is the deciding factor for regulated environments that mandate FIPS 140-2 compliance.
