48-port serial console server

The Opengear CM814810GUS provides 48 serial ports for out-of-band management of network infrastructure. Dual 10 GbE uplinks and dual 1 GbE interfaces give redundant high-speed paths to the management network. It ships with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB flash storage for firmware and configuration data.

Replaces older single-port or single-uplink consoles

Moving from a device with fewer serial ports or only 1 GbE uplinks is worthwhile when the rack density grows beyond 32 managed nodes or when the management network migrates to 10 GbE. The dual AC power inputs also remove a single point of failure found on entry-level units.
