Enclosure for SATA M.2 B-Key SSDs

This Orico enclosure accepts a single NGFF SATA B-key or M+B-key SSD up to 2TB. It connects through a USB 3.1 Type-C port and includes a 20cm Type-C to USB 3.0 cable for broad host compatibility. The JMS5580 controller supports UASP and TRIM for efficient data handling. An intelligent sleep mode reduces power draw when the drive is idle.

Suits SATA M.2 drives up to 2280mm.

Builders with 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 SATA M.2 modules can install them tool-free under the sliding aluminium and transparent PC cover. The blue LED shows transfer activity at a glance. Users who need support for PCIe-based M.2 drives or capacities above 2TB must choose a different enclosure.

Single-drive 2TB limit over USB 3.1 Type-C

The enclosure handles one SATA M.2 SSD at up to 5Gbps transfer rate. Maximum supported capacity per bay is 2TB. No external power supply or driver installation is required on Windows, Mac or Linux systems.
