Sustained transfer over USB 3.0

Real-world throughput stays at the 5 Gbps interface ceiling during long copy jobs because the SATA-III internal bridge does not throttle. The included 12 V 3 A adapter powers both bays simultaneously without voltage drop. No active cooling is present, so extended writes rely on the drives’ own thermal limits.

ABS chassis with single USB-C port

The black ABS body measures 162 by 118 by 72 mm and exposes one USB-C connector plus a DC jack. A bundled USB-A to USB-B cable covers legacy hosts. Only one drive is active per bay at a time, so RAID or JBOD spanning is not supported. Buyers needing hardware RAID or multi-drive arrays should look elsewhere.
