This 16GB DDR4 2933MHz ECC Registered RDIMM is built for servers, workstations and NAS systems that require registered memory with error correction. It operates at 1.2V with CL21 latency and a 2Rx8 organisation across 288 pins. The module replaces Hynix parts HMA82GR7CJR8N-WM, HMA82GR7DJR8N-WM and HMA82GR7JJR8N-WM. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers or unbuffered memory configurations.

Replaces slower DDR4 registered modules

The module runs at PC4-23400 2933MHz and is backward compatible with 2133MHz, 2400MHz and 2666MHz server platforms. Upgrading from lower-speed registered ECC DIMMs is worthwhile when the platform supports 2933MHz and the workload benefits from the higher data rate. It will not work in systems that only accept unbuffered or non-ECC memory.
