High-capacity server memory upgrade

This 256GB DDR4 3200 ECC Load Reduced LRDIMM targets administrators who need maximum density in a single 288-pin module. It serves Gigabyte R272-Z34, R281-Z91, R281-Z92, R281-Z94 and R282-2O0 platforms in server, workstation or NAS roles. The 1.2V design meets JEDEC and RoHS standards for warranty-safe deployment.

Load-reduced ECC architecture

The LRDIMM buffer reduces electrical load on the memory bus, allowing this 8Rx4 module to operate where standard registered DIMMs cannot. It cannot be mixed with unbuffered or registered ECC memory, so the entire channel must use identical load-reduced modules. CL22 latency and PC4-25600 rating define the timing envelope.

DDR4 3200 backward compatibility

The module runs at 3200MHz and will also operate at 2133, 2400, 2666 or 2933MHz when the platform requires a lower speed. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers or consumer motherboards. Buyers who need unbuffered or registered ECC memory must choose a different module type.
