This OWC module delivers 32GB of DDR3L 1600 memory in a single 240-pin registered DIMM. It is engineered for Supermicro SuperServer 6027 and 6037 series systems. The ECC registered design ensures data integrity for workstation and server workloads. It will not function in standard desktop computers or alongside unbuffered memory.
Operating at 1.35V, the DDR3L module reduces power draw compared to standard DDR3 while maintaining CL11 latency at 1600MHz. The registered buffer adds minimal electrical load on the memory controller. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow through the server chassis manages thermals. JEDEC and RoHS compliance guarantees standardised, low-noise operation.
ECC error correction detects and corrects single-bit errors during continuous operation, preventing data corruption in long-running tasks.
