This OWC module is a 4GB DDR3L 1600 CL11 1.35V SODIMM built to JEDEC and RoHS standards. It fits Lenovo Flex 14, 15, 2-14, 2-14D, 2-15 and 2-15D notebooks as a direct memory upgrade.
The 204-pin unbuffered non-ECC design works only in systems that accept DDR3L SODIMMs at this voltage and speed. Buyers with laptops requiring a different pin count, voltage or DDR generation cannot use this module.
The single 1Rx8 rank operates at PC3L-12800 with CAS latency 11. Matching this voltage, speed and timing is the deciding factor for a successful upgrade in the listed Flex models.

Power off, unplug, remove the battery, open the memory door, align the notch on the 204-pin DDR3L module with the slot key, press firmly until both side clips click, then reassemble; the step often missed is fully seating the module so both clips engage.
No scheduled maintenance is required; keep the laptop vents clear of dust to avoid overheating the 1.35V memory, and replace the module only if a memory test reports errors or capacity becomes insufficient.
The single 4GB capacity and CL11 latency at 1600 MT/s will bottleneck multitasking and bandwidth before the 1.35V DDR3L chips reach thermal limits.
