This 16GB DDR5 ECC Registered RDIMM is built for HP Cray XD220v, XD225v, XD295v and XD670 systems. It serves administrators who need validated, registered memory with error correction for stable workloads. It is not for standard desktop PCs or consumer motherboards that accept only unbuffered modules.

Capacity and headroom

A single 16GB rank runs at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency and 1.1V operation. The module adds one populated slot per channel, leaving remaining DIMM positions open for further expansion up to the platform limit. Performance scales with total channel population; a lone module cannot saturate multi-channel bandwidth on its own.

Build integration

The 288-pin registered design requires a server board that supports ECC RDIMMs and cannot be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the module must be provided by the chassis. It replaces HP part numbers P43322-B21, P50309-B21, P58354-H21 and P62601-B21.
