Capacity and Sustained Write Headroom

The 960GB capacity provides space for extended 8K video sessions and long RAW burst sequences. A guaranteed 400MB/s minimum sustained write speed prevents frame drops during high-bitrate recording. Peak write reaches 1700MB/s and peak read 1850MB/s for fast offloads. The card runs out of headroom when workloads exceed the sustained 400MB/s floor or when total footage exceeds the 960GB limit.

CFexpress 4.0 Type A Interface Limits

The CFexpress 4.0 Type A interface doubles the throughput of the 2.0 generation while keeping the same physical form factor. Maximum theoretical bandwidth is defined by the 4.0 specification, so speeds above 1850MB/s read or 1700MB/s write are not possible on this standard. The included Type A to Type B adapter enables full 4.0 performance only when paired with a compatible USB4 reader; older readers fall back to 2.0 speeds.
