The Partaker B17 is a new nettop desktop built around an Intel Xeon D-1581 processor with 16 cores and 32 threads at 1.80 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory, a 256 GB SSD and a 1 TB hard drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the system is ready for Linux Ubuntu. Discrete NVIDIA Quadro K620 graphics with 2 GB GDDR3 drive dual displays via DVI and DisplayPort.

This machine fits users who need many CPU threads for virtualization, compilation or network services in a silent 25 dB aluminium chassis. The Quadro K620 supports legacy professional apps and 4K output but lacks the compute power for current rendering, simulation or AI tasks. The box contains the B17 Mini PC, 19 V 7.1 A power supply, power cord, vertical stand, Wi-Fi antennas and a warranty card. No monitor is included, so you will need to provide one with a DVI or DisplayPort input.

Should I choose the 256 GB M.2 SATA SSD or the M.2 NVMe SSD for the boot drive?

The system ships with a 256 GB M.2 2280 SATA SSD installed. The board also has a spare M.2 2280 NVMe slot if you want to add a faster NVMe drive later.
