CS2241 1TB NVMe Gen4 drive

The PNY CS2241 is a 1TB M.2 2280 solid-state drive built for consumer desktops and laptops. It uses 3D NAND flash and the NVMe 2.0 protocol over a PCI-Express 4.0 x4 link. Sequential reads reach 5100 MBps and writes reach 3200 MBps.

Fits M.2 2280 slots without a heatsink

The single-sided 2280 form factor slips into any M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 socket on a desktop or laptop motherboard. No heatsink is included, so the drive relies on the board's own thermal solution. The NVMe interface removes the cable clutter and latency limits of SATA storage.

1TB capacity with 0–70 °C operating range

One terabyte provides room for an operating system, applications and a working game library. Sustained performance holds within the 0 °C to 70 °C operating window; beyond that thermal throttling may reduce throughput. The drive stores safely between -40 °C and 85 °C when powered off.
