High-Capacity 12-Bay RAID Array
The Promise Technology Pegasus R12 is a 12-bay desktop RAID array pre-populated with 96TB of storage using twelve 8TB enterprise nearline hard drives. It is built for creative professionals and small workgroups who need large, consolidated capacity in a single enclosure. The system uses the PromiseRAID engine for stable, high-performance data management across multiple RAID levels.
Thunderbolt 4 Connectivity And Expansion
Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports provide 40Gbps bandwidth for connection to compatible Mac and Windows workstations, supporting daisy-chaining of additional peripherals or a second display. The compact 12-bay chassis fits in the footprint of typical 8-bay units, freeing desk space while leaving room to scale toward 240TB with 20TB drives. It requires a host with a Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 Type-C port to operate at full speed.
