The Reolink Home Hub paired with one Argus PT Ultra camera creates a wire-free 4K surveillance kit for homeowners who want central management without monthly fees. Solar power keeps the battery topped up so the system runs independently of mains wiring. Up to eight Reolink cameras can be added later for wider coverage.

Simple Mounting and App Setup

The camera installs with standard brackets and connects to the Home Hub over 2.4 or 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi, so no network cables are needed for the camera itself. Pan and tilt motors cover 355° horizontally and 140° vertically, adjustable from the Reolink app. Obstructions or weak Wi-Fi signal can limit the wireless range and cause dropped frames.

Local Storage and Network Limits

Footage records to the Home Hub’s internal drive, providing roughly one year of rolling 4K video for a single camera before the oldest files are overwritten. Maximum resolution is 3840 x 2160 at 45 frames per second, so bandwidth and storage fill quickly if multiple cameras stream continuously. The hub requires an Ethernet link for Internet access and remote viewing.
