The 256GB ceiling means very long retention periods are possible, but users needing multi-terabyte archives must add an NVR or external server. The camera does not support internal storage beyond the single card slot.

Power over Ethernet delivers both data and power through the CAT5-or-higher cable, keeping installation simple and the unit cool without a fan.
