The Reolink RLC-843A is a wired 4K network camera that delivers 8 MP video at 3840 × 2160 resolution and 25 fps through a single RJ45 PoE connection. It features a motorised 5× optical zoom lens with a 123° diagonal viewing angle when zoomed out, built-in spotlights, two-way audio, and an IK10-rated vandal-resistant housing rated IP67 for outdoor use. Smart detection distinguishes people, vehicles and animals to reduce false alerts, and footage can be recorded locally via a microSD card or continuously to a compatible Reolink NVR.

Suits fixed-angle monitoring with optical zoom

This camera suits installations that need motorised zoom and colour night vision on a single PoE cable without mechanical pan or tilt movement. It is not for buyers who need pan or tilt movement because the lens does not move. It is also not for buyers who need wireless connectivity or battery operation.

IEEE 802.3af PoE power requirement

The camera requires an IEEE 802.3af PoE switch, injector or NVR to supply both power and data over one Ethernet cable; no DC power adapter is included. Without a compliant PoE source the unit will not operate.
