8-Channel 4K PoE Surveillance Kit

This Reolink RLK8-810B4-A system combines an 8-channel NVR with four 8-megapixel PoE IP cameras for 4K Ultra HD monitoring. Each camera includes a built-in microphone for audio capture alongside 3840x2160 video. The pre-installed 2TB hard drive supports continuous 24/7 recording and can be expanded up to 12TB. Power over Ethernet simplifies installation using the four included 60ft CAT5 cables.

Suits owners wanting person and vehicle detection

Smart detection reduces unwanted alerts from animals or shadows and lets you configure alert types per camera. Remote access works via Reolink apps on iOS, Android, Windows and Mac without Reolink servers handling your data. The kit is not for buyers who need more than four cameras immediately, as only four cameras and cables are supplied. It also does not suit installations that require wireless cameras only, because the included units are wired PoE models.

Check NVR channel limits and camera compatibility

The NVR accepts up to eight cameras in total, so verify you have free channels before adding more units. Reolink WiFi models such as RLC-410W or 511W can be added, but third-party IP cameras are not recommended due to compatibility problems. Ensure your monitor has HDMI or VGA input for local display. Audio recording must be enabled per camera on the NVR to capture sound.
