Add NVMe storage to any desktop

This adapter installs an M-key NVMe SSD into a standard PCIe 3.0 x4, x8 or x16 slot on a desktop motherboard. It accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors without needing extra drivers. The card is built for users whose board lacks a native M.2 socket but has a free expansion lane.

Passive cooling across wide temperature range

The board draws 3.3 V power directly from the PCIe slot and operates from -40 °C to 85 °C with no fan or heatsink required. In a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot the link runs at 32 Gbps; in a 2.0 slot bandwidth halves to 16 Gbps. TRIM and UASP are supported for sustained write performance.

Upgrade path for older platforms lacking M.2

This card replaces the need for a motherboard swap when adding fast NVMe storage to legacy desktops or workstations. It will not work with SATA-based M.2 drives, B-key or B+M-key modules, or PCIe x1 slots. Boot support depends on motherboard firmware and OS; Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 cannot boot from NVMe.
