The Samsung 860 Pro MZ-76P4T0E is a 2.5-inch internal solid state drive built for high-end client PCs, workstations and network attached storage. It uses V-NAND 2-bit MLC flash and a Samsung MJX controller to deliver consistent throughput for demanding workloads.

4TB capacity with 4GB LPDDR4 cache

Sequential reads reach 560 MBps and writes reach 530 MBps. Random 4KB reads hit 100,000 IOPS at queue depth 32 and 11,000 IOPS at queue depth 1; random writes hit 90,000 IOPS at queue depth 32 and 43,000 IOPS at queue depth 1. MTBF is rated at 1,500,000 hours. Active power averages 2.2W with a 4.5W maximum; idle power is 0.5W and device sleep is 7 mW.

2.5-inch SATA III drive with AES-256 encryption

The drive fits standard 2.5-inch bays and connects through a SATA III interface. AES-256-bit hardware encryption protects data without software overhead. Samsung Magician software provides drive management and monitoring. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C.
