The Samsung BM1743 is a 61.44TB enterprise solid state drive built in a 2.5-inch U.2 form factor. It is designed for data-centre servers that require high-density flash storage in a standard hot-plug bay.

PCIe Gen 4 x4 Interface

The drive connects through a PCI Express Gen 4 x4 link, so throughput is bounded by that electrical interface. Systems limited to Gen 3 or fewer lanes will not reach the drive's rated ceiling, and cable length or backplane topology may further reduce real-world bandwidth.
