The T7 Shield is a 1TB portable SSD with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance. It connects via USB 3.2 Gen 2 and uses PCIe NVMe technology to reach sequential speeds up to 1050 MBps read and 1000 MBps write. The beige enclosure measures 2.30 by 3.50 by .50 inches and weighs 3.50 oz.

The interface caps real-world throughput at the 10 Gbps lane, so sustained transfers will not exceed the stated 1050 MBps read and 1000 MBps write. Hosts limited to USB 3.2 Gen 1 or USB 2.0 will see proportionally lower performance. The drive requires Windows 7 or higher, Mac OS X 10.10 or higher, or Android Lollipop or higher.
