This model is the without heatsink version. The drive itself is an M.2 2280 module; a heatsink and the motherboard mounting screw are not included and must be sourced separately if your board requires them.

How do I decide between the 4 TB model and the larger 8 TB model in the same series?

Both use the same PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface and 3D NAND TLC. The 4 TB unit delivers 7300 MBps read, 6600 MBps write, 1200000 IOPS random read, 1100000 IOPS random write and 2400 TBW. The 8 TB model offers double the capacity with the same speed ratings and a higher TBW figure.

What does the 7300 MBps sequential read figure mean once the drive is installed in my PC?
