The FireCuda 530 is a 1TB internal SSD built for consumers who need sustained high throughput. It uses 3D TLC memory and a PCIe Gen4 x4 interface to deliver up to 7300 MBps sequential read and 6000 MBps sequential write speeds. Random performance reaches 800000 IOPS read and 1000000 IOPS write. An integrated EKWB heatsink helps maintain those speeds under heavy workloads.
The drive fits any M.2 2280 slot wired for PCIe Gen4 x4, including desktop motherboards and the PlayStation 5 expansion bay. No separate heatsink purchase is required because the aluminium block is already attached. The single-sided 2280 form factor leaves adjacent slots clear for other components. Idle power draw is 16 mW, rising to 6.5 W under load.
At 1TB the FireCuda 530 holds large game libraries, active project files and operating system data with room for growth. The 1800000 hour MTBF rating reflects the endurance of the 3D TLC array under continuous write cycles. Sequential writes remain consistent up to the rated 6000 MBps until the drive approaches full capacity, where controller overhead can reduce sustained throughput.
