The Seagate IronWolf Pro ST4000NE001 is a 3.5-inch internal hard drive built for 24×7 operation in multi-bay NAS enclosures. It uses conventional magnetic recording and spins at 7200 RPM with a 256 MB cache on a SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface. AgileArray firmware adds dual-plane balancing, time-limited error recovery and rotational vibration sensors to sustain RAID performance.
