The Seasonic SSR-500PL is a fully modular ATX12V unit that delivers 500 W without any moving parts. Its fanless design eliminates mechanical noise entirely, making it suited for silent workstations, recording spaces or any build where acoustic output must be zero.

Upgrading from a fan-cooled PSU

Replacing a conventional supply removes the single largest source of rotating noise in a chassis. The jump is worthwhile when the system load stays within the 500 W limit and the case airflow can dissipate the unit's heat passively, because there is no internal fan to move air through the PSU itself.

Build integration
