Redundant 2U server power supply

The Silverstone GM600-2UG-V2 is a 600W redundant power supply built for 2U rackmount servers. It uses a 1+1 form factor with hot-swap modules so a failed unit can be replaced without downtime. Active PFC maintains a power factor above .9 at full load across a 90 to 264 V input range.

Replaces single non-redundant units

This supply upgrades a standard single PSU when continuous uptime is the priority. The jump is worth it for workloads that cannot tolerate a power-module failure, such as always-on compute or storage nodes. Cybenetics Gold certification guarantees efficiency between 87 and 89 percent, lowering waste heat compared with uncertified designs.

Fits 2U bays with pull-out handles

Each module measures 84mm wide by 82mm high by 217mm deep and slides into a redundant chassis on integrated handle bars. Four 40mm PWM fans provide cooling at up to 62.5 dBA maximum. Cabling includes a 24/20-pin motherboard connector, two EPS 4+4-pin cables, two PCIe 6+2-pin cables, six SATA connectors and nine peripheral connectors. A single +12V rail delivers 50A for high-current components. MTBF exceeds 100000 hours.
