The Silverstone FDP02B mounts directly onto the rear expansion slots of a tower case to add a dedicated exhaust path. It targets builders whose chassis have seven or eight slots and a power shroud that limits standard fan placement. The steel-and-plastic frame holds a single 120 mm fan to pull heat away from PCIe cards, the motherboard and the CPU area.

Check slot count and shroud clearance

Verify that your case provides seven or eight rear expansion slots and that the power shroud does not block the bracket footprint of 66 by 127 by 124 mm. The unit draws 12 V from a standard fan header, so confirm an available header or a suitable adapter. Hydraulic-bearing fan speed is fixed at 1500 RPM, so ensure your fan curve can accommodate a constant-speed device.
