The SK hynix HMCG94MEBRA123N is a 64GB DDR5-4800 ECC registered DIMM built for servers and workstations. It uses a 288-pin form factor with a dual-rank 2Rx2 organisation and operates at CL40 latency. Registered buffering and on-die ECC protect data integrity in multi-module configurations.
This module replaces slower DDR4 memory or lower-capacity single-rank DDR5 sticks when bandwidth and density must scale together. The jump is worth it when workloads exceed the throughput or error-correction limits of unbuffered memory and the platform supports registered DDR5 at 4800 MT/s.
