This adapter converts SATA M.2 NGFF B/B+M Key SSDs and mSATA drives to a USB 3.0 connection. It suits users who want to access data from older solid-state drives on modern laptops or desktops. The board does not work with NVMe M.2 drives.

SATA III and USB 3.0 Interface

The adapter uses a SATA III 6Gbps link paired with a USB 3.0 external port for data transfer. It requires an available USB port on the host system and a compatible SATA-based M.2 or mSATA module. No driver installation is needed for operation.

Supported Drive Sizes and Limits
