The SonicWall TZ370 02-SSC-6820 is a wired desktop appliance designed for small organisations and lean branches. It ships with a two-year Advanced Protection Security Suite covering gateway anti-virus, anti-spyware, intrusion prevention, DPI SSL, content filtering and anti-spam. Cloud-based management and seven-day reporting are included.

Eight Gigabit Ethernet ports define

Eight 1GbE ports provide the only wired LAN and WAN interfaces, supplemented by two USB 3.0 ports and a single console port. The appliance supports up to 900,000 simultaneous sessions and 100 site-to-site VPN tunnels for up to 1,000 users. Buyers needing more than eight Ethernet ports or fibre uplinks must choose a different model.

Desktop form factor simplifies placement but

The unit measures 3.5 by 13.5 by 19 centimetres and weighs 0.82 kilograms, fitting on any shelf or desk without brackets. A 100 to 240 VAC internal supply draws up to 16.84 watts.
