TZ470 desktop firewall for small organisations

The SonicWall TZ470 is a desktop next-generation firewall built for small and mid-sized organisations and distributed enterprise sites with SD-Branch locations. It delivers industry-validated security effectiveness with real-time breach detection and prevention across encrypted traffic. The appliance supports up to 2,500 users and one million simultaneous sessions. It runs on Gen 7 hardware with Zero-Touch Deployment for multi-site rollouts.

8×1 GbE and 2×2.5 GbE SFP+ ports

The unit provides eight 1 GbE ports and two 2.5 GbE SFP+ ports for high-density wired connectivity, plus two USB 3.0 ports and a console port for management or storage expansion. Its compact desktop chassis measures 3.5 × 13.5 × 19 cm and weighs 0.83 kg, fitting easily on a shelf or rack shelf. Power input accepts 100–240 VAC at 50–60 Hz with a maximum draw of 19.95 W.

Suite B cryptography and expandable storage

Security services include gateway anti-virus, anti-spyware, intrusion prevention, DPI SSL inspection and comprehensive content filtering with 150 site-to-site VPN tunnels, up to 200 IPsec clients and 150 SSL VPN licenses. Encryption uses DES, 3DES, AES 128/192/256 and Suite B cryptography with FIPS 140-2 Level 2 validation. Internal storage can be expanded to 256 GB for logging, reporting, caching and firmware backup.
