The SoNNeT PA09-HS converts a motherboard PCIe X4, X8 or X16 slot into an M.2 Key M slot for NVMe SSDs. A heatsink is included to lower drive temperatures by 5 to 20°C. It supports PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 NVMe drives with no capacity limit. The card fits desktop PCs and weighs 0.08 kg.

This adapter suits systems with an X4, X8 or X16 slot that can run NVMe protocol. It does not support PCIe X1 slots, PCI slots or M.2 SATA SSDs. Windows 7 requires a separate driver download for NVMe support. Some older motherboards cannot boot from the NVMe drive but can use it as storage.
