Capacity and Headroom

The adapter accepts one 2.5in HDD or SSD up to 15mm in height, covering 7mm, 9.5mm and 12.5mm models. It supports SATA I, II and III at up to 6.0Gbps and SAS revision I and II at 3.0 and 6.0Gbps, so the drive interface does not become a bottleneck.

Thermals Noise and Power

No fan is included; cooling relies on the host chassis airflow passing over the metal frame. The passive design adds no audible noise and draws no power of its own, leaving the drive's own thermal profile unchanged in normal use.
