The Supermicro MBD-X11DAI-N-O is an E-ATX server motherboard built around the Intel C621 chipset with dual LGA 3647 sockets for Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Upgrade from single-socket or smaller memory

Standard E-ATX mounting with IPMI

The board follows the E-ATX footprint and uses standard standoffs, so it fits compatible server chassis without modification. Dual onboard GbE from the C621 and a dedicated RJ45 for IPMI share the Aspeed AST2500 BMC, giving remote KVM and sensor access before the OS loads. Common issues are forgetting to populate DIMMs in the correct per-socket order, which prevents POST, and exceeding the 205 W per-socket TDP limit with inadequate cooler clearance in 2U cases.
