The Supermicro MBD-X11SPM-F-O is a micro ATX motherboard built around the Intel C621 chipset for 1st and 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. It targets system builders who need a compact platform with enterprise-class memory and storage connectivity. The board supports CPU TDP up to 165W in a single-socket LGA 3647 configuration.
Sustained load behaviour with 768 GB ceiling
Six 288-pin DDR4 slots accept ECC RDIMM, LRDIMM or 3DS LRDIMM modules at speeds from 1600 to 2666 MHz, scaling to 192 GB, 384 GB or 768 GB respectively. The Intel C621 north bridge maintains full memory bandwidth across all populated channels during extended compute tasks. Dual PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and two x8 slots provide stable I/O throughput for storage controllers or accelerators under continuous demand.
Twelve SATA ports and dual 1 GbE in micro ATX
Twelve SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 give dense direct-attached storage without add-in cards. Dual Marvel 88E1512 controllers deliver two RJ45 ports at 10/100/1000 Mbps for management and data separation. Rear I/O includes VGA from the Aspeed AST2500 BMC, one COM port, two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports for console and peripheral access.
