Dual-socket Xeon server board
The Supermicro MBD-X13DEI-T-O is an Extended ATX motherboard built for dual LGA 4677 processors. It accepts 4th and 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs with a combined thermal design power of up to 350 watts per socket. The Intel C741 chipset manages platform connectivity across the board.
Sixteen DDR5 slots and CXL support
The board provides sixteen 288-pin DDR5 slots running at 5600 MT/s with ECC, allowing up to 4 terabytes of registered memory. CXL capability is included for cache-coherent device attachment. Expansion consists of four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and two PCIe 5.0 x8 slots for high-bandwidth add-in cards.
Dual 10 GbE and dense storage options
Networking is handled by a Broadcom BCM57416 controller delivering two 10 gigabit per second ports. Storage connectivity includes ten SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 plus two M.2 slots using PCIe 4.0 x2 in 2280 and 22110 form factors. Aspeed AST2600 graphics provide basic display output for management.
