This Syba SD-PEX20137 expansion card adds three external USB 3.0 ports and one internal USB 3.0 port to a desktop computer through a PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot. The card is based on a Renesas USB 3.0 host controller IC and complies with the xHCI 1.0 specification. A Molex power feed connector supplies power for connected devices. Both standard and low-profile brackets are included for different chassis types.

Suits PCs with a free PCI-e slot needing extra USB

Builders restoring or upgrading legacy systems running Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Server 2008 R2 will find WHQL-certified drivers on the included CD. The card also works with USB 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0 devices at their native speeds. Systems that require drivers for newer operating systems or that lack a PCI Express x1 slot cannot use this card.
