Smart Fan and Daisy-Chain Expandability

A built-in 40 mm fan with a thermal sensor adjusts speed automatically to keep drives cool under load. The daisy-chain function lets a second enclosure attach through a USB Type-A link, while UASP support reduces protocol overhead for faster transfers.

Software RAID Modes Decide the Configuration

The bundled software RAID utility offers RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, 10, SPAN and JBOD, so the buyer must choose the redundancy or capacity layout that matches the workload. Without hardware RAID, the host CPU handles all parity calculations.
