The Synology DiskStation DS1621xs+ is a six-bay desktop NAS powered by an Intel Xeon D-1527 4-core processor running at 2.2 GHz with a 2.7 GHz turbo. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 ECC SODIMM memory and 24 TB of raw storage supplied as six 4 TB SATA 3.5-inch hard drives. The unit runs Synology DSM and includes one 10 GbE RJ-45 port, two 1 GbE RJ-45 ports, three USB 3.2 ports and two eSATA ports. Drives and memory upgrades are packaged separately and require installation.

Suited for virtualisation
